The International Rescue Committee’s (IRC) Refugees in East Africa: Boosting Urban Innovations for Livelihoods Development (Re:BUiLD) program is pleased to present the Year 5 annual report. Since 2021, the program has worked to help refugees and host communities in Nairobi and Kampala improve their livelihoods and build a better future. By November 2025, Re:BUiLD had directly reached 21,171 clients across Nairobi and Kampala, while indirectly benefiting more than 100,000 people through stronger services, systems, markets, and community structures.
