How did you join the Re:BUiLD team?

Joining Re:BUiLD was my third attempt to apply for a job with IRC. And am blessed the application went through, did the interviews and got the job.

What’s a typical day like for you?

Getting to work on time, checking pending work. Call a CBF to research stories. Probably do a field trip in case I have lined up a story. 

What’s your favorite part of your job?

Creating visual content. I love how I am able to listen to clients and figure out the best way I can present their emotions through photos and videos. 

What is your greatest achievement/thing you are most proud from your work at Re:BUiLD?

I am proud of the great team I have around me in Re:BUiLD. It is like even by a snap of the fingers, you get support.

What would you like your colleagues to know about your work?

My colleagues can know that my work is the easiest to do when the right collaborative energy sinks in. 

Do you have any hobbies or favorite pastimes outside of work?

I learn by watching.

Who’s been your favorite mentor?

Moses Odokonyero, very articulate and organized fellow.

What’s your favorite book?

I read comic books. My favorite is "It’s Trevor Noah: Born A Crime".

What is your favorite quote?

Being chosen is the greatest gift you can give to another human being. Trevor Noah

Where would you go if you won a “dream vacation”?

I would ride a bike from Uganda to South Africa.
