• A selection committee will review all submissions and provide feedback by 30th August 2026.  

• All authors selected to present papers are expected to make the presentation in person during the event in Nairobi, Kenya. Please note that limited logistical support (travel and accommodation) is available and will be prioritized for a selection of presenters, with consideration given to regional representation and diverse professional backgrounds. Applicants are therefore encouraged to indicate if they can self-sponsor or obtain support from their institutions. This will help ensure equitable allocation of the available resources.  

• Submissions from a wide variety of researchers beyond academic institutions is encouraged, including research by refugees, practitioners, and non-academic institutions.  

• The research should have been undertaken within the last 5 years (i.e. from 2021 onwards)
