We’re excited to announce the launch of the Information Pack on Access to Documentation, a key milestone of the Securing Documentation Campaign.
The event will bring together refugees, policymakers, researchers, development partners, and private sector actors to discuss the roadmaps and next steps toward improving access to identification and documentation for refugees and asylum seekers.
A panel discussion will explore the latest evidence, policy recommendations, and collaborative pathways to strengthen inclusion and service access through improved documentation systems.
Following the launch, Refugee-Led Organizations (RLOs) will host community sensitization events to cascade the Info-Guide booklet across refugee settlements and urban areas.
This launch marks a significant step toward ensuring that documentation processes are informed by evidence, accessible to all, and aligned with national systems, enhancing refugees’ ability to fully participate in social and economic life.
The launch will be happening in 20th November 2025 at Skyz Hotel, Naguru (Kampala, Uganda).
