International Women’s Day 2025 - Kampala

The world celebrates the International Women’s Day to recognize and honor the strength of women. The theme for the IWD 2025 is “Accelerate Action for Gender Equality”. The theme calls for bold and strategic interventions towards a gender equal future.

IRC, along with its partners, plans to commemorate the Day with various activities. The main event will be held on April 9, 2025, at KCCA Hall, starting at 8:30 AM. The Guest of Honor will be Hajat Sharifah Buzeki, the Executive Director of KCCA.
